Through a collaborative, data-driven approach, QueryClick executed several highly successful social campaigns for Toys R Us. The brand’s objective was to improve social reach and engagement while also using social media to improve SEO performance and drive underlying revenue.
Leveraging data insights from our social, content and inbound departments, we identified key gaps and opportunities while narrowing the focus to core brands by using data from the client, particularly LEGO. These insights allowed us to pre-qualify the success of content projects in terms of share and link likelihood, effectively target the correct audience and optimise content site-wide.
We improved social reach and engagement through a series of successful competitions on Toys R Us’ social channels that also enabled us to attract high authority links to the domain.
This combined campaign drove the following results, among others:

- Increased average monthly Twitter engagements by +731%
- Increased YoY revenue from social by +77%
- Social reach of 640,560 users via the LEGO project alone
